Inventions
Inventions I created but never pattented
I've invented many things during my life and never patented them and someone else created them years later. I'm used to it, and know what nicoli Tesla felt like. I have brain cancer now, and not sure how long I have, but I thought I would throw down some things here that may or may not get created. I will describe what I came up with when I was younger, and someone else patented later. I can't prove this, but lying will get me no where, so it's not necessary, but you might get a glimpse of what's to come after hearing my thoughts of the future world
Digital Rear View Mirrow
Digital Rear View Vehical Camera In 2001, I had a mini truck and was living in Fremont CA. Iv'e been into electronics since i was a small child. I bought this little spy camera that came with a little monitor, and alot of wire. It worked on 110vac, i wanted to put it in my truck to make sure i could video someone if they decided to go in my truck while i wasn't in it. I bought an inverter that i could plug into my truck lighter, and it converted 12dc to 110vac. i pluged my camera and monitor in and was sitting in my truck, trying to find a good place for it. i set the little monitor on the dash while i was looking for a location for the camera. i set the mini camera on my passenger seat faceing out my back window. i looked at my monitor and said " wow, a rear view camera " i used velcro to stick it to my seat, and took a drive around the block watching cars come up behind me... at that point, i thought, hey thats kinda cool, went home and took it all out and played with the camera in the house, ending up putting it in my bedroom window facing the front pourch, satified with that being able to see whos at the front door.
Talking Door security system
Talking Door Entry Security System In my early 20's, Before the internet was public, I had a bulletin board system on a commodore 64 with 2 external floppy drives, this was my website with a single telephone line connected to it. okay, i'm showing my age...i had games on it and a message board where people could log on and write a message to the public could see when the next person logged on. It was all written in Basic, and it didn't need to be compiled to run. One day i found some talking software called SAM. when you typed in a word, SAM would say the word you typed in this weird voice that you could edit the pitch or speed. All written in un-compiled basic. I noticed that in the code, it could be triggered to talk when you click a button on your joystick. the number was always like 273 unlicked, and then 274 when you pressed the button. the joystick plug was only like 4 wires, so i figured to of those wires made contact when the button was pushed. I unplugged the joystick from my commodore64 and put a meter on two wires and pressed the button. i found the two wires that connected when the button was pushed. everytime i shorted those two pins out on my computer jack, the number of the code changed to 274. hmmm what else can i use to short those two pins out? basically it just makes a closed connection where pin 1 and 2 make a connection. I had these little things from radio shack that you put on your door for a security alarm, it was two pieces... one was a magnet the other was a little plate that made a connection when the magnet side was near it. you get where im going with this ? i hooked some wire to the plate side and then to my commodore joystick port, so when the magnet was not near the plate side, my commodore code was 273. when the magnet side was near it, my commodore code was 274. ok now when my door opened, the code changed triggering my SAM voice to say what i wanted.... it said... " GET OUT OF THIS ROOM " when my door opened. scared the crap out of my mom.. hehehe
Electric Drapes
Electric Drapes When I was 14 years old, i was in my house with my sister that was in a hospital bed in the family room recovering from having a bar put in her back straightning her spinal cord from scoliosis. I had found an electric motor that was very big, and strong and turned very slowly. when i would plug it in, i would try to hold the spindle to see if i could stop it from spinning, and failed. it was very strong, i wanted to hook it to something and pull it. i tied a rope to the spindle part and the other end to one of the legs on my sisters hospital bed... the bed was on rollers, sat on the motor to hold it down and plugged it in.... the huge heavy bed started rolling towards me. Yeah, that was fun... what else can i do with it? i took the rope off and looked at the drapes over our back sliding door... it had a pully thing to open the drapes.. hmmm i brought the motor by the cord that you pull on one side to open, pull the other side to open. wrapped the cord around around the motor spindle and plug it in. the drapes opens. it was fun watching them open, but to close them, i had to flip the cord, but it worked. hmm electric drapes before anyone else put this out on the market. i wasn't thinking lik,e that, it was just weird to watch.
Digital windows
Digital Windows I don't remember how old i was at the time i got my first digital watch, remember those with the gray screen and black letters that seem to change with the changing of time. i just could figure out how they worked until i read up about them. It was little crystals inbetween to pieces of glass that changed position when voltage was send to them in a specific patern. once again my mind started grinding... hmm two pieces of glass, like two pieces of glass in my room windows. why not put some of those crystals in my windows and hook up a joystick to control the electrical paterns so i can open up a little section of my blacked out window, to like open up a windows in a window? you dont need drapes ! pull up a little open area on the top left, use the joystick to slide it over to the top right or down or make it bigger or smaller areas.. whould that be cool? and that fact that you have this liquid metal between two pieces of glass, you can probably heat or cool the liquid to change the temp if its too cold or hot outside..a couple years ago, i was watching some movie, and a guy flicked a switch and the window turned white making it so you can see inside. so i know the ideas out there, but not like i thought of over 30 years ago.
Free energy project
Hamster Wheels Free Energy Project Ok, Check This out ! you know that when you play with two magnets, and they stick together one way, and push apart from eachother when you turn one of them around. And you might also know that you can take a very small DC motor and put a little LED light on it, and spin the shaft and the light will light up, no battery needed, thats because of electromagnitizm... spinning a coil of wire inside a cylinder of magnets creates voltage, and also on the reverse side of this topic, putting power through a wire coil will create a magnetic field and that field will be able to push another magnetic field away from it, just like the two magnets push away from eachother. ok, stay with me.... ill try to take a picture of a little drawing ill do to give you an idea of what my hamster wheels do, but for now ill try to describe this in text...You got two hamster wheels, one a little bit smaller then the other, the bigger one doesnt spin, and is mounted on a table, the smaller one spins and is placed inside the bigger one. both wheels have little magnets mounted all the way around them at angles, so where the big wheel magnets and the small wheel magnets come near eachother, they will push away from eachother, making the inside smaller wheel spin. can you picture this ? ok, now the smaller wheel that spins on the inside of the bigger wheel, has a pole in the center of it that spins like a drill bit. on the other end of this pole that spins, magnets are glued to the pole. now if these magnets on the pole spin inside a coil of wire, we have power, make that FREE energy power in which depending on the amount of coiled wire and the power of the magnets, you will be able to light a light bulb or even charge your cell phone if you get this contraption putting out 5vdc. I haven't actually built this yet, but ive played with the motor and light bulb, lighting the bulb up by just spinning the motor shaft. that pretty much proves the hamster wheel project will work buy spinning magnets within a coild of wire. If you build this, tell me how it works for you
Futurist Video Calls
In The Furure we will probabaly have ......... Many Many years ago, I was in this arcade playing a buncha games and i walked up to this one that was just an emply box with glass walls on the inside. I put a quarter in it, and this little cowboy dude just apeared standing on the glass. It was a 3 dimentional image that looked like you can grab him and pick him up, but your hand went right through it, freaky, he said... " draw partner" and you had to pick up this plastic gun and shoot him before he shot you. It was basic and a little stupid but for some reason 30+ years later i cant take my mind off it. later in life, i went to a pink floyd concert and while playing one of their songs, floating above the crowd about 20 - 30 feet above everyone, was this 3 dimentional spinning rose right in the middle of the auditorium. i walk around the place keeping my eyes on it. it was amazing. i guess if you have multiple lazors hitting eachother in the air, you can create an 3d image that looks like its just floating in space. Now after seeing those two 3d lazor images, my mind started spinning. so i believe in the near future and with a little money, make that alot of money, we can have in our house a lazor system with multiple lazors aimed at a location in our living rooms, displaying the person in their house with a camera on them , sending their image over the internet, converting that to your lazors in your house that bounce off eachother creating the image in your livingroom of the person your talking to, making it look like their right there with you. Would that be cool or what ?
